It would be so cool to let her design an article of clothing that you make for her every year. Then, keep all her drawings and the photos of your collaborations. When you have enough, you could publish a book of them all.* It would be so awesome to see how her tastes change, and to watch her grow up modeling the clothes she designed.

*or at least post them here!  Smiley

Oh, that's such an awesome idea!  I bet it would be so much fun...and who knows, you could end up sewing her prom dress!

I was going to say "wedding dress", but I hate to push a 6 year old into something she's not ready for, or may never want.  Cheesy

1. your niece is adorable!
2. I am impressed with both her design and your follow through based on the picture!

Such a great idea for a Christmas present and project for you to work together on! You made her dream come true in something she can cherish and a memory she will always carry Smiley

Oh, my! When I was a wee girl, I used to draw clothes for my Barbies (when I wasn't pulling their heads off) and swipe my mothers slips and cut out the dresses, wishing they were big enough for me. I would have LOVED to have you as an uncle. What fun and how special your niece must feel!
I think it's a lovely idea to do a dress a year and photograph the drawings and results. Great memories.
