This is my first finished garment. I use the term "finished" loosely, as the seams are kind of sloppy and I couldn't figure out how to thread my serger so I did it all zigzag style on my bernina 440. I used a Burda pattern with slight modifications (I wanted the front ties to wrap to the back) out of a cotton/bamboo knit I found at Mill End last summer.

I saw http://www.etsy.com/listing/63436927/irie-goddess-wrapthis shrug on etsy a while back, and knew I wanted one, and figured - how hard could it be? Well, it wasn't exactly a walk in the park, but I did it!

Sometimes you get to change the world, and other times the world changes you.

Currently drowning in the sea called PhD.

Interested in swapping for I-Spy Quilt Squares and Scraps.

Funny, I don't remember being absentminded...

I need a skein (two would be great) of Knit Picks Gloss Bare sock weight to finish a shawl.
