So I got this box of buttons from my grandma ( I KNOW !!! ) and was looking for a way to use some of the more glamorous ones. I developed these ruffle flowers based on the types I've seen all over the place.

This was the first one I made. It's almost 4 inches across and the center is a bunch of fake pearls. I stuck it on an elastic headband. I love the way it looks, but it's almost to 'bridal' so I don't kow if I'll ever wear it. It may go to my friend who's getting married this summer.

This one is on a alligator clip, using the darker chiffon was tricky because the hot glue tended to show through. A good learning experience though. If I make more of the darker colors, I'll probably use a fabric that is not see-through,

Another white one. The center is a little piece of chain. I thought it made it look a little less bridal. It's about 3 inches in diameter and is glued onto a plain white headband. If I could do it over, I would have re-covered the headband so it matched better

This is probably my favorite, It's sort of silvery-grey with a vintage rhinestone button in the center on a brown headband so I can wear it in my brown hair.

I hope y'all like them! C&C appreciated.

They are really pretty and now (I'm sure) you have one to go with every outfit!

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.
