Hey! I had an idea today! Since it's supposed to be a weave-a-long why not post it in a few different posts? Like How to build the loom in one post then how to string it in the next, weaving the scarf, and finishing. Just a thought.

that is definitly something to think about!  I do want to get a finished project done, so you can all see what your finished item might look like before I start posting though.  I'm back at the shop on wednesday, all day this time, so I should have no problem finishing up what's left.  soon!

Weave along would be nice! I have fancied trying to weave for a while now, but no money to buy a loom. So a handmade loom like in your tute would be great!
Thanks for the tute btw  Smiley

Cheesy  You're wecome!   Maybe I'll post a weave a long in the Craft along boards,  and then it might garnish a little more attention, and get a few more people interested in weaving Cheesy

I would love a weavalong thread in the craftalongs section. I have been weaving a lot lately but have not posted anything yet. If we had a thread where others were posting whatever their weaving projects are, I do think it will get others more motivated. I'm weaving from stash so when I finish things I'll also post in the destash thread, but more than one thread would be fun.  It would be nice to have a mini weavers group here since as you said, it is rather quiet in this section of the forum.
