I'm debating on joining this or not. I'm pretty sure I would never manage 12, and the quilts I already have material for are cheater quilts. (Meaning while I do plan on machine quilting them, I will not be piecing anything. Just using one big piece of fabric for front and back).

wholecloth quilts are not cheating - no piecing involved in them Wink

I'm hoping to piece a couple of quilt tops this weekend, just with solids

I ADORE the moda half moon line.  The colors and patterns are great.  I want to collect all the scissor prints and do a quilt out of them Smiley

melerrific - definately not cheating, just a different technique Smiley

I love collecting fabrics with sewing themes! I am making curtains out of some of it and a new sewing machine cover...

yay, mel!  I just saw the most gorgeous quilt done with panels...the woman quilted over all of the pre-printed squares and it was just beautiful!  I have a few panels that I have never known what to make with them...I might need to give this a try!

This is a really cute line too. My quilt guild did a swap a couple months ago where we put in a baggy of our fave fabrics and then drew another one out and made something out of it for the person that put it in. I got some of these fabrics to work with!

I got a panel quilt from a family friend after B was born. I think its quite cute, the panel has a central image then printed borders, which have been quilted around the patterns so it looks like strips, triangles, etc.

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.

I love this project! Very simple and it seems like it would be a good one for a baby quilt (maybe even Quilts for Kids!). Just 16 patches, or a small block with a border, or a small 4 patch with a border, but very striking!

I finished my zig zag quilt top. And now I will start on my other quilt. I practiced applique so I think it will go ok.

I joined last year, but didn't finish more than a couple of quilts, so hopefully this year things will go better.

So far I my list is:

1. Modified Bear Paw wedding quilt for friends- Due in April

2. Stars and Moons wedding quilt for friends- Due in June

3. Wedding quilt for my brother and his new wife- Due in June (waiting on my Mom to finish her half of the squares)

4.Wedding quilt for friends- Due in December.  This one I had a pattern for, but it turned out terrible, so I have to figure out a new one.  Probably a Wedding Braid in jewel tones

5. Owly Baby Quilt for my cousin- Due in May (but really when I get it done)

6. Black batik quilt for me.  Chinese Lantern pattern with batiks on black background. I want to hand stitch it with bright threads.

7. Wedding quilt for a college friend, no idea pattern or when it's due.

8. Quilted picnic or breakfast set for step cousin's.  Due in November.

oh Mare--you must stop finding all of those cute patterns!  I have so many on my list already!

Here are the quilt tops I managed to get done:

1. This is done using a jelly roll from Connecting Threads.  I used a tutorial from the Missouri Star Quilt Company that they borrowed from 3 Dudes quilting...it was fast and easy and turned out nicely scrappy without all of the work!  My cat jumped on it and jumped back off just as I was taking the picture so it is all rumpled so I will take a picture when it is all quilted! Cheesy

2. This is my first tumbler quilt.  It was meant to be a baby quilt but I got carried away...I used three charms packs and a tumbler template made just for charms!

3. This is a quilt top I made using Max and Whiskers charm pack that was in my stash.  It will be given to Furry Friends in their fundraiser this spring.  I am waiting for the fabric for the backing to arrive to finish...apparently, the fabric is discontinued so I had to hunt for it!  Mare--I used grey as the border! Cheesy

Ok--these go into WIPS until I quilt them... Cheesy
