I'm back! I know I've missed a lot but I am pleased to say that in the three days I had before Christmas I did churn out 5 quillows from my 2012 list as well as ~23 quilted ornaments. I managed to finish 6 projects from my list at the beginning as well as three additional projects and all those ornaments in 2012 so even though I didn't finish everything I am still pretty happy. I can't post pictures tonight but I am determined to do so this weekend. Thanks for this thread, MareMare. I'm looking forward to seeing how far I can get in 2013 with the next Quilt Along. Smiley

Awesome job, froggirl!

Thanks, MareMare! Here are a bunch of thumbnails of my quilted projects. Hopefully this weekend I will do a proper project thread about them.

Above you can see pictures of the Quillows I made for loved ones, the quilted ornaments in progress (I didn't take a picture of the finished ones unfortunately), and some potholders I made too. Whew! Now on to 2013!  Cheesy

How fun! Last week I just made my first collage in picmonkey, it was super easy. Your thumbnails are making me want to make a collage of the whole year in quilting!

I have had quillows on my list forever...you have inspired me to tackle them in 2013!  I also love the penguin quilt!

Oooooh! That sounds like a fun idea.

I'm so glad I've inspired you! Quillows are definitely my go-to gift now. Everyone I make them for seems to really like them and I can complete a quillow fairly quickly. The penguin piece is actually a hot pad. I used special thermo batting as well as extra regular poly-fiberfil batting so it would be both soft to use and heat resistant. Hopefully my friends who got it liked it too.

What a cute idea to make a hot pad!  I think in 2013, I am going to be looking for some smaller quilting projects...I just don't think I can complete 13 huge quilts! Cheesy
