I'm posting this a touch late for the holiday, but after lurking for ages I finally settled on something worth sharing. This was my first Christmas with my wonderful boyfriend of 8 months. He's not a big fan of the holiday, but I wanted to do my best to make him enjoy it! He enjoys shooting and other manly things, so I tried to make him a stocking that was a little less fru-fru and would be something he could use for Christmases to come. Sorry for the blurry phone picture Embarrassed I had a few progress pics but they disappeared into photo-abyss.

It is mostly made of fleece, save for the inside which is lined (sorry I have no picture of it) with a green candy-cane print cotton fabric. The gun and holly cutouts (the guns are his AR-15 and 9mm) are in felt. I hand-stitched the cutouts and toe/heel sock bits on with embroidery floss, and mostly used a blanket stitch so it'd look all home-y. Sewing this sucker was a nightmare as all the layers of fluff nearly drowned my poor sewing machine, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. He liked it a lot too, which was all I could hope for  Cheesy
