This post should have been titled "When Glitter Attacks" but since I don't have any carnage pictures, I'll stick to the wreath.
After joining the Sweat Shoppe Ornament Swap, I got a little addicted to making these beauties
By the time sendouts arrived, they were overrunning their storage container so they obviously needed a new home.
Happily around that time, a group of friends decided to throw a wreath making party. Now, I had an idea! Make a wreath with them....but what kind. Enter Pintrest, inspire-er extraordinare and delayer of housework with a quirky cost effective solution. A wreath made of wrapping paper
So I jetted to the store to pick up a nice solid bit of wrapping paper...Here is where the sneak attack began. My kiddo was with me. He often helps with crafting so that isn't all bad, but he does have a taste for the bold.
Again, not a bad thing he just doesn't understand my one rule in crafting is that glitter isn't allowed in the house. Naturally he uses his cuteness to convince me that all other paper would lack the impact and festive spirit of Glitter-covered wrapping paper. *sigh*
Well, here it is!
I do like it, although I crafted in the driveway or at a friends house to keep my glitter rule in place

Since my paper would not glue to anything (including itself) I stapled the whole thing together around a formed wire hanger. Honestly, with all the silver sparkles you can't see the staples very well.
Would love to hear what y'all think.
