Cake in a Mug. Cooked in the Microwave. Awesome!

This is the cake I made, in a mug, with the microwave. (Isn't that the coolest thing ever!) The cake recipe is from http://be-it-ever-so-humble.blogspot.com/2010/02/lemon-mug-cake.html. I added a lemon glaze. I made the glaze by mixing the juice of half a lemon and about two and a half spoon fulls of powdered sugar (a regular kitchen spoon, not a table spoon, or teaspoon).

Here it is with the glaze and a garnish.

That is so neat! I have seen recipes for these and have been meaning to try it for years. Now that I know they come out good, I need to do it for sure!

This looks gorgeous, tried out a 5 min chocolate mug cake last night and it wasn't as nice as it sounded, but Lemon cake with your frosting sounds delish, may have to try this tonight, y'know just for comparison!

By far my favorite microwave recipe. Made this the other night for my mom as a midnight snack. She loved it and now wants one every night.
