My first quilt finish of 2012

I started this quilt in September and just finished it this week.  I used my go cutter to cut the fabric out.  I just wish they made it electric.  I really like the color combination of the red and aqua.  The fabric line is called "bliss" from moda.  This quilt lives in my youngest daughter's house now.  I know it will get lots of use there.

Love this quilt (and didn't realize I hadn't commented on it before)!  I did not get the wonderfulness of the tumbler until I saw yours a couple of months ago.  I think its the color scheme and the fabrics you chose, which allow each not-quite-a-square to be seen.  A lot of tumbler quilts just look like a noisy jumble of color to me, but this one, even with the bright, energetic reds, is cheery and makes me smile.  Because of your quilt I decided to get a tumbler template, and as I wait for it to arrive am contemplating different color and pattern combinations.  Looking forward to making a decision and getting started, all thanks to your inspiration!
