Thank you for your comment.  It is sparkly because it is stitched over organza fabric amid I used fine silver thread and a silver plated bead.  But I may try some of the iridescent fibers sometime.

Thank you I appreciate your compliment.  I've been thinking of doodling another pincushion but with a stumpwork butterfly.  It is fun to just doodle flowers on a piece of cloth.  I've been looking at several books with lovely butterflies the past couple of days.  It would be even more fun having others doing a pincushion and see all the different ideas.  But I don't have many friends that are into embroidery right now.
