thanks to all for the joining suggestions,
esp. raerae for the links -- I'm thinking slip stitch is the way
I want to go, at least at first....
good tip on leaving a long tail to use for joining -- that should help~

Most of my stuff in my store is new. Yay for people who understand you, and give you crafting supplies for Christmas!

I'm not attached to your world, nothing heals, nothing grows... we used to love ourselves, we used to love one another.

life is no cabaret- we don't care what you say, we're inviting you anyway, you mf'ers, you'll sing someday!

I might could make you a toothbrush roll CA if someone else hasn't bitten.
No one has bitten. It would be wonderful if you were willing.

I'm on it CA!

On the subject of crochet motifs, I found this youtube channel right before Christmas, and I'm eager to try out some of these. Most of her newer videos have an English version.  Smiley

I was planning to make some rolled fabric rose projects, and if I like how they turn out, some necklaces will be in my shop.

I bought Katwise's armwarmer tutorial a while back.  I need to get my serger out and get to work! Would anyone like some of these? http://www.etsy.com/listing/88143281/arm-warmer-tutorial

Ugh, sorry to hear that LL.  Sad

Yes, yay for crafting supplies Gala!  Smiley  My hubby picked up the Sizzix stuff today.  It is in wonderful condition...like new!!  Eek!  So happy.  I have 4 alphabet sets, the machine, and a bunch of extra stuff.  Smiley  I can't wait to get crafting for my nieces!  Smiley

And to top it off I had a wonderful crafty day with Ptarmic and Freestyle.  No pics, but there was good Korean food, dyeing of fiber, Tarot readings, and a walk around the lake.  Smiley

I all out of points too  Embarrassed I had 3 to start this round and I spent them up already! ooops

I'm totally up for any sewn or embroidered projects that you might have in mind and I have plenty time to make them at the moment. I made a beautiful embroidered tree bunting and some owl bunting for my local boutique / gallery - I'll put a picture of that up too incase any of you are interested.

I have added some new items to my shop and have a few more to add soon, I'll let you know when they are up.

I'm nearly finished with sarahj's curtains!  They turned out pretty cute.

I am learning to tat!  Actually, I'm relearning!  A lady at church does some remarkable stuff with tatting and she helped me remember what to do.  I was thinking of making some notecards with tatted embellishments.  Any interest?  I want to revamp my shop this month, so it's taking me a bit to get things set up.

Just showing my colors - so I can follow the chitchat^^

I finished four unravel scarves today. On is already spoken for but the three is going in my shop. They're in gray, white and dark blue. All in soft acrylics! Hope they can get new homes Smiley

The Mitten Project is a year of mittens! Each week a new mitten and you get to choose which ones should be knit. In the end three pairs will be given away to you readers.
