Ok, I am planning to clean up some of my fleece stash tonight. Some of them can be stored more compactly, and others I may want to cull (I think there are some fairly grungy ones that I have had for a while that probably aren't worth trying to work with). I may decide to clear out a lot of alpaca also, I don't really like felting with it. Is there any interest in alpaca batts (I could card them up), and would natural colors or dyed be preferred?

eta: now that all these fleeces are in the middle of my living room, I see several that might be ok for spinning/combing but aren't great for felting. Some could possibly be put into batts, other might be better combed (I don't have combs). These may end up in my shop by weight with the option to spend an extra point per weight for having it carded into batts.

I fell for a gotland fleece and also sent in a registration for a weeklong fall felting workshop, so now I feel the need to clean up and get felting....

Hehe, I am slowly, but surely working thru my fleeces...NOT!  Actually I'm going to use some of it to make felted acorns for OWS.  It's not much, but it's a start.

I went ahead today and took the plunge and ordered what I could find of the Sizzix original Dress Ups dolls and accessories.  Smiley I really love using this die system.  I'm going to work on making more tags tomorrow.  Smiley

Ok, I cleaned out four big bags of fleece (mostly leftovers that were pretty junky from those free fleeces I got in Colorado). Yay storage space!

Added some alpaca (I think some of it was from long-ago rounds of this swap), washed merino (maybe from MLF?), and a carrot bib.

Beautiful work Jo!  Maybe you could offer the finished artwork in your shop!  Smiley

Any interest in tags?  I am having tons of fun cutting them from cardstock, book pages (Sherlock Holmes), and maps.  Smiley  Tomorrow afternoon I'll stamp up some.  Smiley
I have scalloped top, round top, and pointy top tags.  I'm thinking of making some nifty altered homes from the pointy top ones.  Smiley

Hey~  That tree branch lives with me, Jo!  And if you look at jo's pinterest, you'll see the mermaid she made from magazines strips for me!  Cheesy  She's my fave!

Worked most of the day on CA's needle case.  Just have a couple of problems to work out and then I can finish that up.

I added an envelop clutch to my shop.    These are available as custom items.

Going to bed because I'm up early for church.  I am the substitute choir director for the next couple of months.  Sorta nervous, but rehearsal went well so we'll be fine!

Nite all!

Jo made Lana the birdie and mermaid on her Pinterest.  It is soo lovely and Lana really enjoys wearing them!!...as well as the owl she made her.  Smiley

Let's clone Jo and then we each can have one to ourselves!
