basically i dumped an old box of brown sugar into my mixer while it was on and a HUGE clump jammed between the mixer blade and the bowl. One of the parts broke and the hubs is about to call and get it. It's under warantee I am pretty sure.
Just sewed the ends in my scarf, off to finish my sweater, and then probbbbbably should do some design stuff for Nollie's/a freelance gig.

Anyone in the mood to make some curtains?  I need one small sheerish curtain for our main bathroom, then curtains for the kitchen to cover 3 total windows.  I have fabric for the kitchen that I can send.
Anyone interested?

Jo

my friend still is using her mom's from college! They really are not made like they used to be, but I had hoped this one would last longer than 3 years :/

If you are interested in a cobweb felt curtain for the small curtain, I am messing around with some border leicester right now. I can't find a decent photo on google, but I can take a picture of the test sample if you want to see what it looks like.

Just sent out sarahj's and craftaddiction's claims, plus a January birthday swap package.  If I could only remember to bring my delivery confirmation slips upstairs with me!  I stopped in the library and they were giving old books away.  I got two vintage (circa 1950) books about science experiments.  They are CLEAN and the illustrations are awesome.  I love books from this time period because they were the ones I looked at as a kid.

I am not up for making curtains at the moment, but could be next round.  How big are your kitchen windows, Jo?  PM me.
