For my SIL this Christmas, she asked for a table runner. I decided to give her something better.


It's a "hot pad" table runner. I added the quilted batting that you use for pot holders or oven mitts inside it.


I could have done the binding better, but I didn't realize it was twisting until I was half-way through sewing it down!


I love these two fabrics, they are my favourite!

That's very practical. Things can be pretty, but when they're also practical we get to see them so much more because we use them.

I love that deep green fabric. Lovely print.
