When I saw this pattern I just couldn't resist making a pair.

Once I'd made them, I didn't actually need them as I got a lovely pair of fleece slippers for Christmas. Fortuneatly they are really stretchy so fit my size 6 feet and my OH's size 9s. So they're now his moon socks.

Easy pattern, quick knit and so very warm and comfy. Grin

These look really similar to the "Prairie boot" pattern I bought on ravelry.  I might have to try this one too and see how they compare.  Which ever is easier may turn out to be the 'go-to" gift pattern Smiley
