MadHatteh has been having problems posting pictures, but she did manage to email them to me, so here they are!

The first one is from xxmyjelloxx

and this one is from kimicara (hope I got that the right way round, if I didn't I'm sorry!)

I love the needcase and the buttons

Eclectic Dreamer's  Envie Came!   I couldn't get to my po box for a few days, but when I did it was such a nice surprise!   I love everything.   I had never played the "Shut the Box" game before.   I really enjoyed it and I think I will play it with my 8 year old too.  I also already had to play with the spiral shape maker thing.  Thank you very much!

What on earth is the shut the box game? I imagine it's the 9 block numbered grid, but how do you play?

Also, spirographs are the best things ever. Just saying.

Well I received a wonderful envelope from xxmyjelloxx and here it is so you can all appreciate it too!

I have plans for the thread, feathers, envelope and card already.

She didn't know but I desperately needed more sewing needles and a place to keep them so the needle book was a great surprise.

Also I decorated a hairpin with one of the pretty buttons (and some wire and beads) for my ten year old cousin and she thinks it's fantastic!

Thank you xxmyjelloxx, such useful bits and pieces! Grin

I want instructions, too! Pretty please!

And I ~covet~ the spirograph.

Here are the rules she sent me.  There are also variations in rules I found by googling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shut_the_Box  and  http://chrisglass.com/things/games/shutthebox/

I like that it has some simple math for my son to practice with!
