Can i knit you something in seed stitch? I'd love to swap you for: handspun yarn, hand carved banana stamp...

I would like to join this swap, but I'm going to throw it out there to the group before I go ahead and do it.  The thing is, I only have drop-spindles, and I really like to spin but I'm not so great at it yet, and I end up with smallish uneven skeins.  But I have heard some people say that they really like the less experienced "art yarn" type quality- and I also make my own batts and have tons of different fiber available to mix in.   So if anyone is wanting to receive some smaller chunky random yarns- let me know and I will definitely join.  Otherwise I will hold off and my feelings won't be hurt a bit. Smiley
I think if you feel too uncomfortable with your yarns you could sign up as an other crafter and send some of your batts to your sninning partner as part of the swap. Just a suggestion. I'm so glad there are so many people interested already! I forgot to look: is there a cap on how many swappers?

I caved in and sent my questionnaire. (yep, that didn't take long.)  I don't want to miss out on a chance to receive handspun yarn.  It'll just be motivation to finish up my other swap quickly and try to get some other projects done in the meantime.

I thought of that too, but I don't knit or anything, I just like to process and spin fiber Smiley Thanks for the suggestion though.  Like I said, I won't be disappointed if I don't join the swap, I just never know what to do with my yarns once I spin them so they pile up!

Oooh, this looks tempting! I'll have to think about it/see how many hours I get at work the next couple weeks.  Cheesy I'd looooove some handspun yarn!

So tempting!  But I only crochet...  Do spinners ask for specific items or give a general idea of what they're interested in?

It's like torture for me to keep checking the swap boards. I'm about to enter into my final semester of college, in which one of my classes is my senior project, aka, my solo show. It's going to be soooo time consuming and I don't want to flake. But, man, I'd be all over this like white on rice! I guess I'll just have to stalk and be envious!

what she said!!!!  More or less. Smiley
