This is a great idea. The seams always get pitched - now there's something creative to do with them! I'm getting ready to make capris out of a pair of too-short jeans so I'll soon have some seams to try this with. I'll be checking out your tutorial next. (I wonder - could you use other seams besides the denim ones? They seem really sturdy but I wonder if other thick fabrics would work too.)
