I know these are pretty common, but like the book purse, i just had to try one! I enjoy using it daily! Smiley

First, i cracked open the tape (i was scared about breaking it..) and took out everything inside. Next, i glued in the zipper (purchased from a craft store). Then, i cut some felt for the inside linning and glued that in using basic craft glue. I am also currently looking for a little yellow feather (if I were good with clay, i would try to make a polymer one) to hang on the end of the zipper.

I got the tape from a collection of tapes i found from when i was a kid Smiley

They are really cute and I'm glad you found a use for your childhood tapes.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

I've been wanting to try this too! I found our last few cassette tapes in the car - thanks for the inspiration!

Use what you've got to create what you want!
