I'm having trouble with a pattern, and was hoping I could get some help.

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/snow-trails-ear-warmers

This is the pattern I want to make.

I started, and got to the following part, and my brain kind of shut down. Could someone please explain this to me in super-simple terms? Or point me to a video or photo tutorial that would be good for a beginner?

On wrong side: sl1, p1, knit into the back and front of next stitch, m1f, *p1, k1*,
repeat between * until last two stitches, p2.

The bolded part is the one that's troubling me. I'm sure it's super simple but I just can't get my brain to understand. Or if someone knows a similar pattern for crochet, that would be great.

Thanks in advance!

"knit into the back and front of next stitch, m1f, "

This is a double increase, probably to keep the new sts in the rib pattern. So kfb, then lift the yarn between the next 2 sts and knit it tbl so it's twisted and won't leave a hole.
