This is the inside of my bathroom door. It was damaged by flood twice. (Oh, the trials and tribulations of a basement apartment dweller.) Short of replacing the door, I was wondering if anyone had any crafty ideas to make it look a little bit better? It is basically wood luan that is peeling off the door core.
Thanks very much in advance!

You can buy brass or plastic kickplates for doors, buy why not make one. You could use wood or plywood (even a cool old sign or other salvage piece) and paint, decoupage, or even carve it. Attach it with screws to the door. You might have to score the warped wood qwith a matt cutter or box cutter and snap it of to give you a flat surface. Make something to surround a peephole to match.

Teesha Moore inspired patches--anyone want to swap?

Brilliant ideas. Thanks so much, and I'll be sure to post pics when I'm done!
