I made some new polymer clay hearts - this time I used metallic colours and clock parts to create a more steampunkish look.

I really like those hearts, are they beads?  I haven't messed with polymer clay yet but it's on my to-do list as I think it would be a great way to make certain jewelry components I can't ever seem to find.

These are cool, did you bake them with the clock parts already on?

Thank you =)
They're all brooches, but I'm planning to make some new rings, necklaces and such...
I bake them with the clock parts and findings, I've done this a few time and I'm usually afraid it will fail, but so far it never has ^^

How long and what temp do you bake something like that for? I have clock bits and clay, I like the idea of combining the two together Smiley I don't think I would make hearts, yours are so awesome! I am actually not sure yet exactly what I would make them into.

I simply follow the instructions - 30 minutes at 110C (230F).
Just play with the clay, I'm sure you'll come up with some awesome ideas =)

These are gorgeous, could they be made into beads?

I guess they could, but I usually make them into brooches, rings and earrings. Sometimes I also attach eyepins to make charms.
