altoid tin advent calendar (pic monstrous)

Happy New Year greetings to all! This project was inspired by my brother-in-law's addiction to small altoids.  My non-crafty yet wonderful sister knew to save all the tins and give them to me.  I gave the resulting advent calendar to their two girls who are also the best nieces ever. The tins are covered in scrapbook paper, book pages,ink,glitter,buttons,beads,etc. and the back of each has a magnet sheet on the back, so it will stick to the cookie sheet base.  They were filled with earrings, M&Ms, little paper stars, wee ornaments for the tree, dollar bill origami, etc. I was in such a rush to get it to them I failed to take pics of the treasures inside.

What lucky nieces you have! You did a beautiful job on this calendar. They will treasure it forever. You'd probably better make another so they don't have to fight over it one day.
