I sooo want to join this swap! Have so much stuff to do though... I think I'll use this as incentive. If I get all (ok, most) of my cleaning done in the next few days, I'll join Wink

I too love the unfinished look but have a hard time quashing the perfectionist in me. I'd be curious as to what the results would be if the embellishing was done in the dark - I don't mean pitch black, but say only the TV, a candle, or a nightlight is on.

I keep thinking of possible ideas for these. I can't wait for partners so I can do some fabric picking!

No, I don't think they will.

I'm waiting to hear back from a few people, and our lovely co-org just went on holidays for a few days. I'll start partnering behind the scenes, and see how we go in a few days.

Don't want to seem too excited but I did order a bunch of fat quarters (batiks!) from Etsy last night.

Caved in and sent my questionnaire Smiley

Thanks for the idea. I was thinking of doing that anyways than taking out my sewing machine. Right now my desk is tooo small. Craft space is just limited, so forced to use my coffee table and it drives my fiance crazy.  Grin

Craft space is really limited for me too, so no taking out the sewing machine. For this project, I'm planning to use my hand-held sewing machine. You can get them for only a few bucks on ebay. It's perfect for seaming little things.

My Derwent Inktense pencils got here today!  I can't wait to try them out.  My drawing skills are fairly basic but I am hopeful I can create something cool.  I am going to sneak a patch into training for work - maybe no one will notice me coloring away  Roll Eyes

Do those really work? They have no feed dogs, I could never figure out if it was worth it to give one a shot. I'd love to hear a success story!
