I absolutely loved all of the books, but I have to say my least favorite would be Mockingjay, because of all the people she killed. So it would have to be a tie between the first two I read the first HG when I was in 7th or 8th grade.

I don't think I have a favourite book. Except maybe not Mockingjay, because everything seems to fall to sh*t in that one. For me, it didn't have the same hook as the other ones, and I think it was because there was no games in it.
My favourite moment, hands down, was the Gale and Katniss kiss. I shipped them from like the first page, and wasn't overly thrilled with the ending. I mean, Gale didn't intentionally blow up Prim. He built the explosives, not knowing what they would be used for. He had no control over what District 13 did with them. Not his fault.

I just sent my questionnaire and I REALLY hope to get picked for this swap! I am currently re-reading them (again) I have read The Hunger Games 4 times, am half way through Catching Fire (3rd time) and have read Mockingjay twice. I made my son, who is 4, a mockingjay t-shirt and read a chapter a night to him to make him go to sleep. My 12 year old is about to finish Hunger Games today and her birthday is next week and I am thinking about painting a pair of canvas shoes with a mockingjay theme. I think I am becoming obsessed.

If I had to pick a favorite book it would be the first, hands down.

I feel the same way. I saw the sign up date ends Jan 27th, so I'm hoping if I am on the ball maybe I can complete the Doctor swap and sign up for Hunger Games...Maybe

I find it really hard to pick a favourite book..I think like rubylynns said, I read them together so quickly (I think it was 3 days) that they just merged into one epic book that had me hanging on every word If I look at the events that happened in each book I think maybe I like Catching Fire the most. I found Mockingjay really traumatic, but still loved it, and it definitely contains some of my most loved quotes.

On the subject of the books sort of melting into one epic book, I always give that as my excuse for finishing them all in 4 days straight. I actually wouldn't mind having the three compiled into one giant book. They flowed together very well with no real breaks in between.

I'm going to try to read the series again before the movie comes out, but I haven't started again yet. I just read them for the first time before Christmas.
