A few months ago, I saw a really cheezy clock at Hobby Lobby.  The only cool thing about it is that it's a giant bottlecap.  A few months later, I finally decided to buy it and geekify it.

"Distressed" and reassembled:



It wasn't a very difficult project.  I just took the clock apart and painted the face.  But I think it's pretty dang cool and it's going up on the wall in my new place.

Thanks everyone!  I couldn't resist buying that clock just to paint it.  I was worried it wouldn't look very good, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Just showed this to my 14yr old son who collects bottle tops.  His reaction - I WANT THIS!  Never seen a bottle top clock in the UK though  Sad
