love this technique, but I live in europe and am clueless as to what gel glue is, I assume its not PVA, hot glue, gluesticks, superglue,

is it a solvent based adhesive...you know the really stinky ones? or something else??

No, it's a washable glue, non-toxic... they sell it as a school glue so you might be able to find it with school supplies (especially since now everyone is getting ready for back to school  Cry ) I've seen it both clear and in blue. Our dollar stores here sell it to so if you have something similar you might have some luck there...

I hope you have some luck finding it edelC! PM me if you can't, I'd be more than happy to put a bottle in the mail to you  Grin

TEA-CHART! So funny- love it.

Has anyone tried this with spray dyes or rit with lots of water in a spray bottle, rather than brushing?

Oh you tea lovin' Brits  Grin I will admit that I even call myself tea chart sometimes (but I do, and think it's extremely important that we TEACH ART! Students who participate in meaningful art classes do better in all other areas of learning  Smiley And yet the arts funding always gets cut first... ok I'll get off my mini soap-box now  Grin)

I don't see why spray dyes wouldn't work... I personally have never had much luck with rit dye though. As long as you let it dry before rinsing I think it'd work out fine.
