I bought myself a Skirt Purse from a friend at work who was taking up a Thirty One order with the hopes that I would be able to sew my own skirts. And I did!  Cheesy I love how they turned out. I made the floral one first with fabric I had on hand. And bought the oriental print yesterday at Joann's. I just love it.

Great job!  I have been wanting one of those purses but I wasn't about to pay that much for one unless I knew I could make my own skirts! lol.  How hard were they to make?

They're not hard to make at all. So I bought myself a brown one as well. Check e-bay. I got a great deal. The newer version (like my black purse in photos) has a zipper closure, but the original had a snap instead. Since they retired the snap version, you can find them quite reasonably priced. Now I have a brown and a black bag and I'm so HAPPY!  Grin

Do you have a pattern or measurements for the skirts?
