It's Minnie Mouse! They have a display of antique tin toys from Japan on display in the Japan area, and I just had to take a pic to show you guys. Isn't she adorable? I'd love to see what she looks like when she's wound up.

Hmmm; Minnie sure has interesting technique.  No knitters I know hold the needles straight out in front of them like that.  They must've used the mechanism from a drumming toy.

Also, that fabric's woven!

Minnie looks so demure --I always think of her as a Flapper, but here she is peacefully knitting.
