For the most part I put them together as they come in. I have special themes that I'll organized together like black cats or my Halloween count down.

I agree with Savagerose in part. I have a sent ATCs folder and a recieved ATCs folder. Then with the hardcopies, well, I'm making a scrapbook of People With Weird Hobbies, a scrapbook of Monsters and Fairies, and any clockwork orange or zombie ones go directly to their places in their shrines.

In other news I FINALLY GOT TO CLAIM JILLYBEANS. I've been waiting f-ing ages for that.

lol!  I haven't claimed in over a week and I decided it was high time!  I'm such a slacker!  ^_^

I'm always open for personal swaps, too, btw.  I love personal swaps!

Big favor to ask if anyone can help me. I am making my sister a present and wanted to see if anyone had any pages from an Edgar Allen Poe book they could send me. I will trade other supplies! Thought I would ask here before I buy one.  Wink

In preparation for making Jillybeans a second curse word that isn't a curse word ATC, I googled for creative swearing. While this doesn't really have non-basic swear words, it is incredibly funny (and not safe for work, of course) :http://fuckyeahswearing.tumblr.com/

I hope at least a few of you enjoy browsing!

Sweet swear word loveliness, that is an awesome website!  I do love me some swearing.  ^_^  Thanks for sharing, gala!

And she was very right, definitely not appropriate for work, or those offending by inappropriate language.  ^_^

I have been watching the ongoing swaps for over a month...trying to make sure that I understand as well as getting a more straightforward swap under my belt, because the ongoing ones confuse the heck outta me...

Even after a month, I still don't know a few very simple things:

1) when someone claims someone, how many cards is it for?

2) since they are so small, do you have to do delivery confirmation, or is "mail and pray it arrives" the acceptable format?

I could go on, but those two are the big questions...I feel like such an idiot for asking, btw.

 Hope this helps dewshinesdopp!
 1. When you claim you are required to claim the last person who claimed (I got that wrong when I first started, that's why I am adding it) and it is only for 1 card. Some people add extras but that is not required at all. Just the one card.
 2. You do not have to get delivery confirmation but if they do not get it you are required to resend.
Everyone is really helpful. Hope to see you swapping soon!

Thanks, Gozer!  I just got my feedback for my first swap, and have been watching this one like crazy.  I think I will come up with a list of themes and run with it.  I have only made 3 or 4 ATC's though.  Hopefully my skills will be good enough.

dewshinesdopp, you should totally go for it! I just made my first ATCs this month after joining, and I'm so glad I signed up. Since you don't even have to make any claims after you sign up and you claim cards one at a time, it really takes away the swap anxiety. For me actually having a theme and deadline to craft for is what it took to get me to stop thinking about awesome ATCs and actually start making them.
