I'm really sorry if this has been asked already, but does the 1 claim rule apply to people doing their first swap or people doing their first ongoing ATC swap? I've finished another kind of swap, but am just starting this one, and want to double-check before I make another claim. Thanks, guys!

 That rule is only for your first swap ever. You should be fine.

Twenty cent stamps are very handy, because when sending a normal envelope, it's 45c for the first ounce, but each additional oz is only 17 extra cents!

gozer is correct (though she should know, as my normal co-organizer!  lol! ^_^)  Since you aren't a friend of craftster, you can have up to 7 active claims out at one time (an active claim being an ATC that has not been received by your partner, whether or not its been sent or not).  You should see your name and how many claims you can have in the swap info page.  You are under the 7 claims.  Those only allowed one will be under the 1 claim.

I guess I have been paying to much for postage.  Because I usually stuff the envelope with goodies the postal worker told me that the little envelopes were to thick.  So by changing to the longer envelopes they told me I could use a denomination less stamp and stuff up to 1 oz.  Sorry that I haven't been sending goodies this month.  The truth is I have trashed the craft room and can't get to my stuff!  Besides I think of the stamp as another goodie!

September did go by very fast but that means we are into baking season!  My favorite holiday!

I'm an over stuffer too madcrafter.  And I'm trying to change that.  I do the ATC partly because of it's low cost.  Then I think "oo maybe they might like this!" and end up having to pay waaay more for shipping then I figured.  I like it when I get a few bits of extra paper from craftsters, so I'm going to try and stick with that when I join again..which probably won't be till Nov..or possibly the new year....

Yeah, I have just an incredible amount of scrapbooking paper.  So, I thought I would share the wealth, and send some with my ATCs as extras.  I've hardly put a dent in my collection though.  ^_^  It does make my envelopes more bulky, and I always seem to have a slathering of stamps on my envelopes that always hardly seem to fit.  ^_^  I like to share, so I don't really mind.
