Smiley Happy New Year, everyone! Smiley

I want to share some fleece hoodies and backpacks I made for the sons of a good friend.

The hood is lined with the same  fabric as the backpack. One boy got a green backpack with a blue hoodie and the other one the blue backpack with the green hoodie.

The hoodies are made from a burda pattern.
The pattern for the backpacks is my own. They have one large main compartment and an outside pocket behind the picture panel.

What do you think?

I really like the lining fabric of the hoods; they look nice and different. The backpack's pattern is very cute too; it's perfect for a child!
I think that your friend will be very glad with your presents. Well done! And happy new year  Grin

Thank you!

I love colorful lined hoods. The only problem was that I was lining fleece with woven cotton fabric and the loss of stretch changed the fit of the hood.

I have some printed knits in my stash that I'm going to use for the next hoodies on my to-do list.
