Wow Walking dead project is rather cool!!

Here is my recent update. I'm pretty sure you know what it is now. You guys just don't know what the face will look like. I only have 6 1/2 pages to go now!! It will nice nice to complete this before March Break.

I have now finished 2 more pages - I didn't post a picture after I finished page 5 because there were only 8 stitches on that page - if you remember, I am not doing the entire picture, just the flowers, so that meant page 5 was very fast and didn't deserve it's own picture.


               


You won't see the next page for awhile.  I need to finish 3 swap packages before I stitch any more and page 7 is huge so it's going to take a long time.

I have not posted on the cross stitching forum in forever because I had to stop stitching so Ive decided to come back with a project that is not too big but depending on how far I decide to take it, it could be my version of a massive project. If you remember those DMC books where they listed every thread color so you could go through it and decide on the color you wanted to use. I am making something like that showing the thread number followed by some double cross stitches after it both in the correct color. I am starting with the basic floss and then I might move on to DMC's other types of cross stitching thread.

chocolatecoveredmoo n, that could be a huge project if you list all the speciality colors too!  I can't imagine owning that many colors - I thought I had lots until I went to the local craft store to buy a color I didn't have and saw how many there really are.

Homerof2 me either. I thought my collection was nice until I saw my grandmothers collection(I think she owns every color you could every buy in both dmc and anchor categorized by color and type) and went OMG.

I think I will just order the floss colour cards that gives you the colour swatches and number!!

HistoricalNeedle My grandmother gave me hers at one time but the rest of my family thought it was outdated and gave it back.
