Big Project Stitch A-long 2012

Here is my latest mystery update. I haven't been getting much on this because of a migraine that lasted 3 days then I was sick for a few days afterwards from taking so many pills. Not much to show-- promise you next time I will have something stitched that you can guess on.

Needle, that must have been so tedious, all that white and shades of white?!

There is lots of white...but it had to be stitched. I have seen peoples stitchings that avoided stitching the white-- to me it didn't look right. It looked unfinished. There is lots of detail to this mystery project. It will drive me nuts with all the colour changes. I will be wishing that I still had white to stitch!!

I think I have decided on my big stitchalong project.  It is going to be Bruce Springsteen themed and I cant wait to start.  Ive just got to get hold of the fabric.  I am very impressed by everyones progress - particularly the patience needed for the black and white work Historicalneedle.  Anyway can't wait to join in

Kick-Ass WIP

I completely finished his face (no photo yet), but now I need to fill in all of the gaps on the left side with single stitches of a color. I want to finish it this week, but it's going to be extremely annoying to keep changing colors :S

Here is my quick update-- A bit more of the puzzle. I have most of the white stitched now-- Just a few more small clumps here and there. I'm pretty sure you will figure it out soon. There will be lots of detail- only down side is all the colour changes!!

Wow, HistrocialNeedle, you are fast - how do you do it so quickly?  I have two things in mind that you might be making - can't wait to see if either is correct.

I had decided that on each of my days off I was going to do at least one hour per day on my project but my last set of days off I spent most of my time working on swap projects or making dishcloths (which I was lacking in) and didn't even pick up my project.  My next days off, I AM going to stitch!!!
