Here are the "unpaper" towels I got from franknhurter!



They are fun, kid friendly fabrics backed with nice terry cloth, which wipes up messes very well.  They are in use in our kitchen right now and are just what we needed!

AND we also got this:



Levi got a box of heart shaped swirly crayons, these are great for the crayon rubbings we do on nature walks.   And candy!  That organic chocolate was my favorite, yum!   In the pic Levi is excited because he found a licorice that he isn't allergic to, he was very excited about that!

There are a bunch, fairly simple to make, they can be turned and topstiched (like my new ones!) or serged around the edges.

And then add snaps to the corners so they can go on a paper towel roll, or not, and just keep them in a basket.

Loving these gifts so far! And I'm definitely adding these "unpaper towels" to my list, they're ingenious and I live with 4 20-year old boys...messes galore!

Shipped Retro_rose's package yesterday!  Hopefully it gets there today or tomorrow (thats what the post office told me, but they are filthy liars a lot of the time). 
I've been sketching out some ideas for Franknfurter and already have more ideas than I could possibly make...

I received an awesome package from nilmerg today! Excellent timing, it was nice to have something to open on my birthday
