That seemed to take forever to get there!  I don't understand why the mail from the US to Canada takes so long!

yea, it definitely took a while... a think something was amiss at the local post office too, because i got a message from them to come pick up a package, but it said it was the 2nd note from them about the package.
so i guess it sat at the post office for a week before i even knew it was there.
in other news though, some of the stuff in there made some kids VERY happy today

I received from Velvet Rose. She claimed me for roving, and i told her i love colors inspired by rain/water/clouds, etc.
And just look at what she sent.

Hi everyone I don't know who is still following this thread but I am going to post the awesome stuff that  mermaidcafe and my ANGEL atsuko sent me. Here is the package from mermaidcafe. She sent me a beautiful blue/green scarf and 2 pins to keep it on. As you can see one of them has already made it's way onto my favorite hat. she also sent a stack of paper. yay!


From atsuko i received an adorable pea pod pendant and twinkie chan's crochet book. I didn't know how much i needed this one until i got it. i made the hat for my daughter's 5th birthday from the book.


Thank you ladies sooo much! It made  my weekend!
