This is my first post on Craftster, so I'm a little nervous posting amongst some of the most magnificent crafters I have ever seen, but C&C is always welcome.

This is the front of a Green Bay Packers Rag Quilt I made for my best friend, who is the most epic Cheesehead Ever. I know the green's and yellows aren't exact Green Bay Packer shades, but my bestie thinks their colors are too dark anyway:

And here is the Back:

This is the Dallas Cowboy one I made for my brother. Again, not exact color representation, but he liked it. And the "c" is a little wonky, but for one of my first rag quilts, I don't think I did too bad:

Otherwise it's a one week supply AT BEST.

My favorite is the Packers quilt.  I like that you made it reversible.

Thank you! The Cowboys one is reversible too, I just didn't get a chance to photograph the back before he took it home lol.

Well, the dog seems to approve, and that's what really matters, right?  Tongue

I've seen folks incorporate patterns into rag quilts, but not letters.  It's a fun idea!

Your rag quilts are great - Nice Job On Both!!  Welcome to Craftster too - I've belonged just short of a year and I have been so inspired on this site and these wonderful Craftsters!  You are off to a great start, especially for your first quilts!   Grin

Funny, I don't remember being absentminded...

I need a skein (two would be great) of Knit Picks Gloss Bare sock weight to finish a shawl.
