Sitting out this round too, but you should definitely join, quilted!  This swap in particular includes a lot of my favorite ladies on craftster, and I am so glad RLynn added supplies - I never feel anything I make anyone is ever good enough so I always throw in something from my (way too extensive) supply stash to sort of round out the claim.  But I agree with everyone else, I just love receiving, I love seeing the creativity everyone puts into their packages, and I've never received a package that didn't make me happy!

Heh... The best swappers have swap anxiety. That means you care. I overcrafted a lot for my first swap (since I didn't know exctly how much was enough), and I had an awesome partner so I got a really good package in return too.

I have been watching the "ongoing" swaps with interest, and being a newbie, I have not really known if "anyone" can join.  

I understand how Quilted feels.  A lot of people on here intimidate the heck out of me.  I see wondrous things, and am certain that they will be disappointed in my attempts.  

I am so glad that you spoke up. I remember that feeling well. And yes - you are absolutely welcome here! This is a very welcoming group of people!

I agree, I still get swap anxiety (although I have not been in as many swaps as many of these lovely people). This swap is nice since you get to chose the who/what, so it helps. Also, to help with the anxiety I have contacted people before claiming them asking "this is what I am thinking of making, it is not exactly what you have posted... what do you think and my feelings won't be hurt if you are not interested..." to make sure that they are okay with my version.

If this continues into February I think I'll cave.. I love Pinterest... it's addicting... but not everything I see and would love to make fits me... so it would be great to get to make some of those things... you know?
