My first post in fiber arts!! Woot!!

For christmas this year, I bought myself tools to start needle felting! (It took me three days to get everything I needed to start since I used Michaels 50% off coupons to get supplies and you can only use one a day. The first two days were tough... sitting staring at the needle and then the needle and the felting mat, waiting to get the roving... yes I am thrifty!  Cheesy

This is my first attempt at felting. I used reclaimed felted sweater wool for the mittens.

Would love to hear what you guys think! And thank you, needle felters, for all your amazing posts and for inspiring me to try something new  Smiley!

Awesome, teachart!!!!  I so admire your already proficient skill at this - I love your mittens!!    I appreciate your "gathering" supplies with coupons - I am the same way.  If I can get it on sale, that's my first plan of attack!!  I will be looking for other needle felting projects from you.  This first one was such a success!!  Nice pretty work!   Cheesy

I hope you post them if you do Belladune! They really were a relatively quick and easy project to complete. I finished mine in probably just a few hours. (including cutting, sewing, and needle felting)
