I saw a youtube tutorial for making a Nook Cover but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I was able to make one exactly like I wanted on my own. It features a snap closure and a pocket under the place that holds the nook. I loved making this.

I made a slightly different one, just a sleeve for a Nook as a guy gift for Xmas but am going to have to make one of these too I think, not a Beatles fan though (and I'm English too, that may possibly be illegal!!) but love the Black and Whiteness of it.

Will have to play around with making one of these too, thanks for the inspiration, yours is great.  Grin

Actually, I said in my discription that it was a snap closure but its really a magnet snap. I checked on line and most of the expensive Nook and Kindle covers have magnetic snaps. I was worried about having a magnet so close to my Nook. My cover has padding, cardboard and fabric over the magnet so it shouldn't be a problem having it on the cover.

My nine year old granddaughter got a kindle for Christmas and she wants me to make one to look like a Harry Potter book. So that is my next project!

I love it!  I've been looking for ideas to make a cover for my mom's new nook, and she would love this!
We're both big Beatles fans, so I'll have to look for this fabric and a pattern for it.   Grin

Thanks everyone! My inspiration for making this cover was a youtube video. The book style cover is great because you still have access to all the ports and buttons on your Nook and it feels like you are reading a book when you use it. I really love the style of this. Here is the link for the how to video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ee7V9h8LKM&feature=related
