I'm a piece of work.

About a year ago, I decided I wanted to try crocheting with tee shirt yarn, so I cut up a zillion shades of blue tee shirts (turning my snot blue, pretty rad). But then when it came to crocheting it up for a project, for some reason, I just lost interest. And then for some reason, yesterday I found interest. I crocheted this bath mat and it's super squishy and soft on my toes when I step out of the shower. It gives me a really good feeling every time I catch a glimpse of it.

And here it is in the bathroom, just beneath my latest thrift store find: a $1.99 Pottery Barn shower curtain.

Looks great! I love the colours. I'm just about to do one of these myself so I'm glad to hear that you are happy with yours.

Crochet with spaghetti yarn is great! Your bathmat looks the part, just that touch of colour in the white room.

Just beautiful.  I think I want one too.  Hope you don't mind my asking what size crochet hook did you use and what stitch?

I can't seem to find the hook I used right now but it was one of those big turquoise hooks about the size of a finger (don't you love precise measurements?) and the rug was done in all double crochet except one row of single crochet in the second row of light blue (because I was running out of yarn).
