Age requirement?  16 and older as stated in the Craftster Swap rules, you must be able to purchase craft supplies and send out on time.

- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

Here’s the deal:  I know that there are a lot of you who think that swapping sounds like fun, you’re tempted to try, but then, you chicken out.  You think, what if my crafting isn’t as good as my partner's?  What if I screw up?  What if I don’t understand how to do this no matter how many times I’ve read the swapping guidelines?  So many “what ifs”!  This is your opportunity to get your feet wet in the swapping pool with folks that are in the same boat!  This is your chance to ask all of the questions that you’ve ever needed answers to! Everyone will be brand new swappers, so no one should feel like they are asking silly questions or feel like they don't have enough experience. Some really amazing things came from the previous newbie swaps and some new friends were made.  So, come on in—the water’s fine!  I will be your guide through the world of swapping.  If you have any questions or concerns throughout this swap, please PM me or post in the forum!  There are some rules that must be followed in order to have an optimal swapping experience.  Some are Craftster's rules, some are mine. If you feel that you cannot abide by the rules of this swap please don't join!!

My rules:
1. Once you have been accepted into the swap, you must post to the thread with a brief bio.  No details such as last names or addresses of course.
2.  You must post at least once per week in the thread.  When we move over to the gallery, you must continue to post once per week until you and your partner have both sent and received.  Failure to do so will result in a 'poor communication' comment in your feedback. If you signup but do not post in the thread in a timely manner, I reserve the right to drop you from the swap.
3.  You must communicate with your partner.  If I receive notification from your partner that you are out of communication, this will result in a 'poor communication' comment in your feedback.
4.  When sending messages to me, please label them as 'Newbie Swap Round 18' in the subject line.
5.  Posting photos in the gallery is a rule of this swap.  Failure to do so will result in a comment in your feedback of 'did not complete swap requirements'.

Feedback:
Feedback will not be given until both partners have sent and received.

Craftster's Rules:

1.  If sending within the US, you must use a Delivery Confirmation Number (DC#).  If outside of the US, please get a receipt.  The DC# and/or receipt must be sent to the organizer and your partner.

2.  When you receive your swap package, you must notify both myself and your partner… and post photos in the gallery!

You will be crafting 1 medium and 2 smalls for your partner.  If you want to send more, please discuss this with your partner.  
A guide to size:  
Medium 2-3 hours  and a small is less than 2 hours.

Things to keep in mind:
The more flexible you are in the questionnaire, the easier it will be to match you up with a partner.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

Posting a brief bio is a requirement of this swap so I'll start off.... I found Craftster way back in 2005 (!!) and since then have rarely missed a day in my favourite place!  I'm an old married lady (coming up on 28 years!) with 3 kids 24, 20 and 17; 2 crazy little dogs and 1 giant cat.  My home is in Northern Alberta, where usually at this time of year its -30C and moose are eating my flower beds.  Sort of a crafty magpie, I've tried many things but my main loves are mixed media collage, assemblage and shrines, knitting and jewelry making.  I have 2 craftrooms full of stuff and hope that this will be the year I finally use my spinning wheel.  and learn to sew with all that fabric I've been hoarding.  and learn to knit socks

My name is Sarah-Beth, SB for short. I am 21 and currently living in germany. I am in the army soon to get out. I am from Southern California and I miss it a lot! I have always been "artsy" but became more crafty when I moved to Germany 2 years ago. I live in army single soldier housing which is basically one small room with a shared bathroom but its home. I have two pet geckos a male named Zeus and a female named Bella. I am obsessed with zoos and farms. Whenever we travel I drag my poor BF to the zoo right off the bat. I told him if he wants to marry me he better get me a house with a sheep and a cow in the back yard. lol. I plan to get a bachelors in Biolog when I get out but I haven't figured out if i will specialize in zoology or cellular biology. I am a medic and work in an american clinic here on base. I am also volunteering in the lab prepping to get certified as a phlebotomist. I love the medical field. If I go into medicine I want to do Trauma or Occupational Therapy. I play Modern warfare 3.As far as TV goes  I love Dr Who, greys anatomy (Im on season 6 ) misfits, Spartacus, Rome, and sons of anarchy. I love science and reading.

Here is my brief bio. My name is Stephanie and I am 35. I am a stay home mom and college student with a loving supportive husband who likes that I enjoy crafting which helps with keeping up my yarn stash My main crafts are crochet and knitting. Ive been doing both for almost 15 years. I self taught both so I am still learning something new especially with the knitting which keeps me from growing bored. I have also picked up painting ceramics since my mother in law owns a ceramic shop. I have lurked on craftster for years and decided i wanted to participate in a swap with other craftsters since i never really make anything for myself lol.
