Also, love the plaid dresses...I am going through all of my patterns so I will see if I have any that might have sleeves like that (dolman sleeves)...

I am going to take pics of what I did this weekend to help me destash... wait and see!

I spent three days organizing my cotton fabrics, fat quarters, etc. Here is one of the bins...ready to destash!

Let's see how long this lasts and if I ever get around to organizing the other fabrics stuffed in my walk in closet!

These are from August. For travel I decided to make a beach memory necklace. I took a small med vial and crocheted around it and glued on a shell.


This is my fire side shawl that started with some orange blend Manos, then I found some rust I liked and finally received some burgundy Malabrigo in a swap. I worked them together with a natural brown wool. This was for the orange category. I have been wanting to make a shawl for awhile. I actually started this a couple years ago then frogged it.


I had more bottles in different sizes, so I crochetd covers for them as well.


For September, I'm not sure yet. I guess my favorite color would be brown or cream if we are talking yarn. For organizing I mostly want to get rid of things. I would like to make some covers for my 1 gal carbides instead of wrapping them in random shirts and aprons.

RLB, i don't have any advice, but all of those dresses are lovely. I can't wait to see yours.

Beth, that jacket is awesom, and the colors you chose are amazing together. So looking forward to seeing yours all finished.

I finished this hat today, but i think i might want to add a pompom. What do you think?
 
It isn't fitted, it's roomy and slouchy, which is why i think a pompom would be cute.

This infinity scarf/cowl is from some handspun i got in a swap a while ago.
 

I got the yarn for this a long time ago and finally finished my first adult-sized blanket.

And this extra slouchy hat. I learned to knit pleats, but i need to redo the ribbing and bindoff.

alwaysinmyroom your organizing looks great. What did you use to wrap up your material? I love how that looks, that is one of my big problems is what to do with my material. 

So I finished all the squares for the jacket last night, now on to joining them and working the rest of it. I also got some material cut out to sew the next costumes, but I woke up yesterday with a nasty cold, and I feel even worse today so not sure if anything crafty will get done, leaning toward the couch, hot tea, and netflix.

bananaleg great hat; love the button stitching detail. Have you considered placing a short tassel on top with I-cord?

bananaleg--the full size blanket is great!  I love what you did with the handspun--shows off the textures nicely!

Pleats in knitting..now that is interesting...I will have to google that one!
