That is truly wonderful tryskal. There is nothing like the feeling when an adult praises and encourages your work as a child.  Smiley

Sorry to hear about your problems, Aprettymess - at least I hope she is better now? Tryskal - what a lovely story - there is nothing better than being able to fix things all by oneself. It gives a child confidence and responsibility. It was so good of you to encourage her to do it, instead of taking over as we adults so often does.
Bananaleg - cute little people. I like the red and blue one with the big hat very much!

That's such a sweet pillow Smiley.

Bananaleg, my daughter so desperately wants the one with the long hair and the bows, lol. She's super impressed with your popsicle people. She made a bunch too, they're such a hit with both kids actually though the 11 y/o's are a bit more complicated.
Here are 2 more of hers and a painting my little man finally finished, it's been hanging around the studio for Months! I only helped him a teeny bit with technique.

I'm working on another day of the dead sock monkey, I had a face left over from the last one I made that didn't fit but was too good not to do something with. I should be finished tonight or tomorrow.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

A Pretty Mess - I'm loving those memory pillows. And, heck yeah, I'd leave them out all year too!

Those popsicle people are just too cute! What a great crafty future all our little ones have.

Child art is very creative!  I think next time I visit with my nieces and nephews, I am taking my felt scrap box and some popsicle sticks!  What a clever idea!  I think when you encourage children (or anyone) to express themselves, it is a good thing!

aprettymess--glad your baby is ok!  I do have pet insurance on my animals but it is thru work. Do you have a Pet Smart?  I know they give out information on inexpensive pet health insurance at their adoptions.  If any of you guys have any great ideas for non-stuffed pet toys, please let me know...my new dog is in need of toys!
