I finally got to take better pics of the scarves I made

Hand felted Confetti scarf by SpinHeartSpin, on Flickr

Hand felted and beaded scarf by SpinHeartSpin, on Flickr

Hand felted Cowl with hand made poly clay buttons by SpinHeartSpin, on Flickr

and I've posted a tutorial of sorts here(it's on C-ster, of course)  The beginning of the process for the long scarves is a little different then standard felting, and i like the way it looks!

Bella, I don't think I ever commented on your scarves... The beaded one and the cowl are gorgeous!

Always, loving the note cards. Great idea.

Beth, your sister's pillow looks awesome.

Kook, you are adorable.

Love the scarves, and also the jean hat. We have a very crafty bunch, but I guess we are on craftster.

Love those notecards, always! I'm not much of a seamstress so when I look at the fat quarters at the craft store, I find myself wishing I had a paper pack with those coordinating patterns and colors. Just lovely!
Same goes for the colors of the pillows, beth. I can't wait to see the FO's!
Cute hat, kookie!
Bella, I lust after your gray and tourquoise scarf! What a unique item!

Not much destashing going on at my house this week. I'm wrestling with a baby blanket for my days-old nephew. It was supposed to be done before he got here, but it may prove to be my Waterloo. Sad

So many great things to comment on - it is a lovely hat, Kookie. And the scarfs, Belladune! And you have chosen lovely colors for the pillows, Beth - I am really looking foreward to see the finished product. Are you going to turn the blocks, so the make a zigzags or diamonds, or what are your plan?
And congratulations on your destashing, Crafty! You must have been very good!

Spring cleaning means an explosion here. My ex is gone, so I have a little energy to destash. I find a lot of stuff that roomies have 'organized' for me. A lot is going in the trash because of where they stored it. Belladune, your scarves are gorgeous as are you.

My craft room is coming along nicely (again) and I have done a ton of hats, scarves and head set cozies (I work in a call center and they are very popular). I have downed the yarn stash by half, but I keep finding more. No more is coming in till I finish a few rapunzel scarves and some fingerless gloves. I'll post pics if you want to see the mountain of yarn I've used over the last 2 months. (finally found the camera cord).

Belladune, what types of fabric do you crave? I have a lot I will not use, and would be happy to send you some (washed of course, you know I'm a smoker). I still remember the preserves you sent me in the craft my username swap.. Border patrol didn't eat them. Wink
