So had a good day, I used up 5 yards of fabric to make maxi dresses and shirts. I cut up 4 tank tops that dont fit (too short) and put bottoms on them one is now a shirt one is a dress and I had 2 tops that fit great in the boobs but were way to tight in the belly area so I chopped them up and added material to the bottoms to make them flowey shirts. Love them now. Will post pics when I get my camera back from my mom.

Cute gnome guy! And yay for getting those kids crafting at a young age.

Here are a few swap items made all from stash: a steampunk collage, peacock feather necklace, altered tin.

But as for regular de-stashing, I was completely thrown off by JoAnn's coupon commotion this week Sad I need to develop a new ideology when it comes to coupons and it needs to be something like "Coupons are the devil's tools of temptation and sin!"

Joanns coupons are the Devils mistress of temptation for sure. That is how they get you in the store then they lure you with all sorts of prettys, and lovelys that could be something amazing. I could spend hours in my local joanns, and this store isnt even one of the large ones. Plus it is never good when the staff know you by name right???

Oh so while it isnt much stash, I have been working on some cross stitch projects, completley from stash. I finished a panda one to go with a drawing my brother did years ago for me. I am working on a wedding present for a friend, and I am working on a swap project.

Love the use of buttons here. I have a project I want to do with buttons I just dont know when I will get to do it.

So Thank God I have a craft stash. I have a tendency to wait till cute fat quarters go on sale at Joanns and then buy them up. I love the colors and put them away for a quilt some day. Well we have had green furniture since we got married and we are getting new funiture to be delivered in a week or two. The new stuff is tan, and since most of the color in my room is the furniture I will lose alot. What to do??  I am gonna make scrappy quilty throw pillows and I am gonna use up a good portion of my teal, green, tan, brown fat quarters, and I am gonna have enough left to make scrappy valances too. Cant wait to see how it looks, I am currently cutting material Will post when I get them done.

Ok crafting has been put on hold, because crafting can be dangerous. While using my rotary cutter today, I got distracted and ended up slicing off the tip of my left ring finger. After 45 min I got the bleeding to stop, however the queezy stomach is still here. So now I have to stop crafting for awhile.

I made some cot rail teethers to stop further eating of varnish by Brady, all from stash bar the buttons about which I confessed the other day  Embarrassed Stash is so great. The cheapest we could find online were $25 for just enough of those plastic ones to cover one side!

here's a hoop I did for bananaleg Smiley

and I did this mug rug entirely from stash, intended for a bday present and started on the day it was to be given, on a whim. So I was super happy I could do that (even if it didn't actually get given due to being forgotten!)

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.

Inspiration without application is moot.

I work in a big box fabric store where people are always asking why we don't have rotary cutters at the counter.

I tell them 'Because you can slice off the tip of a finger if you are not careful.' Most don't believe me.  Roll Eyes

Hope your finger heals quickly.
