Red for Feb <3
I have a WIP involving red for my Beloved, I know he'd be thrilled if I use up my red yarn to finish it for him this month, he's only been waiting  couple of years  Embarrassed and yarn certainly makes up most of my stash  Cheesy

February Themes

Color: Red
Pattern: polka-dots
For: A loved one, BFF, or your significant other.
Challenge: Concentrate on the material that makes up the largest portion your stash (by numbers or volume, it's up to you). Perhaps you can make a dent in it this month.

ooh polka dots... I just threw my old polka dot flannel nightie into my fabric stash yesterday!

Looking for teal/turquoise/aqua, grey and white (or a combo) fabric for a quilt.

My son loves Peppa Pig's brother George and Raa Raa the noisy lion.

I was bad yesterday.  I did a Joann's order online.  I only got fabric, though, and I have very little fabric stash.  2 yards of it are for a swap project.  And I used a gift card.  So I only feel slightly guilty.

Red is perfect for February since it is also Women's Heart Awareness month!

I want to make a bunch of red hearts and leave them randomly at different places to make people aware...

I also love polka dots and would love to destash some of it...I am concentrating on fabrics this month...I am out of room and I refuse to buy one more plastic bin...

I can do this. Hilarious 'cause I JUST bought a piece of red fabric w white dots at the thrift store the other day. I've been meaning to make some cute mushroomy things too, and I have LOTs of loved ones Wink.

I don't know if you guys noticed, but I try to use some of the same challenges over on the 50 projects...destashing and that craftalong seem to go hand in hand!

I have always wanted a red polka dress dress...this would be the time to drag out the fabric and make it!

I love a good polka-dot pattern, and yarn is still the biggest part of my stash, so I'll have to see what I can do with that. I have some red yarn that is thin, and I'll probably use that up in some sort of a stash buster project. I might make a scarf using the red and another strand of yarn, possibly.

I hope to work on cross-stitch or embroidery this month too, since I only made stuff with yarn in January. My grandma has already informed me that she's giving me yarn for my birthday too, so I need to make room!
