Just catching up on the 10 (!) pages of the thread that have passed while I've been working on non-stash projects.  There have been some fabulous projects!  I especially love all the crochet that's coming out of the woodwork this month.

Nisforneville - I am going to have to give that pet bed a try for our local animal shelter.  My grandfather just gave me a trashbag full of acrylic yarn he found at the local goodwill store.  Most of it will be going to our goodwill back home, but I need a project to use up some of it while I'm visiting him.

What a terrific use of yarn that is not your favorite to use...I am sure the animals don't care about it as long as it is warm and snuggly!

I realized that most of my destash this month was yarn...and mostly stripes! Cheesy

Next month is definitely fabric month...Cheesy

I do like the pet bed! I'm sure the shelter is thrilled to get these, it looks very cozy. Hee, part of me wants one for my own little monster, but  kitty would rather burrow under the bedspread. I have to be careful not to just flop on the bed this time of year!

we must have the same kitty... Cheesy  I am so paranoid that I am going to squash the little guy!

I bet my two big boys would love a bed like that!  They sleep on the floor in the basement for some reason!

The Charlie Brown is my favorite little pillow! How many do you need to make?

40. I have 10. I've got a ways to go.

Your pet beds are so sweet. I think you may have already answered this, but what size hook do you use for them?

K for 2 strands of yarn. N if I'm using strips of clothing as "yarn" just because it's the biggest size hook I could find at Wal-mart, haha.

I made my cat his own bed, because he usually sleeps in the dog beds, or a pile of clothes if he can find one. He loved his own bed (too small for the dogs) for a few days, then he never used it again. Cats are fickle like that!

I really like those hooded scarves, I like hoods, they flatter and generally fit my abnormally large head!
Loving the pet beds, what an awesome idea, I have a few  cat/dog mad friends I could make them for as a presents! Well, as I decided to crash my car into a barrier tonight on my way to work (I'm fine but my car was undriveable and towed) and now have no form of transportation anywhere further than cycling distance I guess I will be cracking the sewing machine out to make the skirt I promised myself, because I don't think work are expecting me for a few nights. (Also means I will probably have to drive a manual again - scary!) Embarrassed

I made another destash/upcycle project from a bed sheet from the thrift store.  I used the Morsbag pattern, which I definitely recommend.

I think I'm going to use the rest of it to make another circle skirt.

I have one more destash project done, but it's for a swap, so it has to wait to be posted.

MiLady, sorry about your car! Glad to hear you're okay!

MeganCrafts, that bag is awesome! Great find, that sheet... That's going to make a seriously awesome skirt!
