I made some cloth pads today. I don't know if it counts as destash, because I had to buy some waterproof fabric to back them. But I made them with fabric and cotton batting I already had.

Pretty neat, I think. The galaxy in my underwear, lol. I don't think they'll look stained because of the color pattern.
I'll probably make more but with a different pattern. I don't like how the wings barely meet at the middle. I think longer ones will be better.

For the earrings holder I just cut that plastic mesh needlework canvas to the frame inside size and then hut glued the fabric around and all of it into the frame.  I am going to get a little frame easel to rest it on to be able to easily access the front and back.    The Headband holder, when I find the lid will either contain extra tp or be a place to put bows etc in.

apm, I was playing a card game with my family and crocheting the slippers when it wasn't my turn, and they took me a couple hours.
As for the headband, i didn't follow a pattern. I used this post as a general guideline, though.
I CO 10 or 12 on size 15 needles and did seed stitch until it fit snugly around my head (with the yarn and needle size and the stitch, there's plenty of stretch, so it has to be snug). Then BO and tied the ends together. Then i knit a small rectangle that could fit around to make that bow/turban look and tied those ends together. Voila.
Once you get back to practicing with needles, i bet you could bust out a few of those.

plaidpineapple, those earring holders look great. And the earrings! What a great idea for the oatmeal container.

I'm working my way through my saved crochet patterns. It's a good way to use up yarn and the stuffing. I finished another Doctor Who alien today, from another free ravelry pattern. This time it's the Weeping Angel.

Oh, wow! I have been busy (and then sick) and was away from Craftster for a while... I come back to find so many people have already posted their crafts! How great! Loving everything that everyone has posted so far. Really crazy about the scarf (from many pages ago) and the earring holder.

Here's my first project. It's a perpetual calendar, composed of numbered trinkets. It didnt de-stash me very much since most of the items were small, but it did get some of the great trinkets that were stored in shoeboxes out into the light of day!



It's not white, but it is sort of "stripes" (in a way...) And it is certainly "for me". I love looking at it on my wall!
